Saint  Gemma Galgani was born in 12 March 1878 in Camigliano, Italy. Known for Italian mystic, venerated as a saint in the Roman Catholic Church since 1940.

Gemma Galgani has been called the “Daughter of Passion” due to of her profound imitation of the Passion of Christ. She died on 11 April 1903 in Lucca, Italy.
